WE MADE IT!

Challenge completed! We’re trying to push the fundraising to £3k - things aren’t getting better for the people of Ukraine - they need as much help as we can afford. Please give generously.

With the horrors that we see unfolding on our TV’s every day, like most people, the staff at Langdon Systems have felt really upset at the awful plight being suffered by people in Ukraine and we have wanted to show our support in a positive way.

We feel that the best thing we can do is to raise money to help people who have had to leave their homes and lives as a result of this awful, pointless war.

A team of Langdon Systems staff are going to undertake a sponsored bike ride from our offices in Wigan, to our corporate HQ in Portsmouth. It’s approximately 250 miles.

We’re not pro cyclists, but we can stay upright without stabilisers. We’re going to attempt to complete the ride in 24 hours as a relay.

We’re hoping that some of our fantastic customers will support us in our efforts, and we’ve set up this fundraising page to help raise as much money as possible.

All proceeds will go to the DEC’s (Disasters Emergency Committee) Ukraine appeal.

Donations to the appeal go to DEC member charities and their local partners responding in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries.
DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.
£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month
£50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm
£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
