So I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 9th October. This is a bit different to the other races I have done in the past as this is the first one for quite a while where I have a charity place.  

The reason I have volunteered to do the run, is because it is raising money for the Organutan Foundation, one of my favourite charities. I am sure you know Organgutans are one of the great apes, which are severely endangered.
 
Orangutans are special and important, they are a unique highly intelligent direct relation of that other species of great ape (us). The organutan foundation does some crucial work directly protecting their habitat from plantations, logging, hunting and the illegal pet trade. Without this work the orangutans would be staring extinction in the face. No more "Right turn, Clyde"

I am running to show my support for this great cause, I would be really grateful if you could also donate to help the charity and make all the sweat worthwhile.
