We fund research into type 1 diabetes to find a cure for type 1 diabetes

Story

My daughter Ella is my hero. Ella was diagnosed with type one diabetes just before her 1st birthday. Now we're 8 years on and I could not be more proud of the way she manages her diabetes. She tests her blood sugar levels and injects herself throughout each and every day without a grumble or gripe. I long for the day when she and others living with diabetes will benefit from a cure.

Our cycling adventure begins on Sunday August 19th 2012.

The route starts in Santander and will pass through the Picos de Europa, through Spain, into Portugal and over Monchique before finishing in the Algarve (hopefully) a week and 700 miles later.
