Since I heard about this war breaking out I have been checking the news every day, but today, I saw an article that was truly shocking. “Ukrainian refugees walk for 43 miles on 20 hour journey to Poland as thousands continue to flee Russian invasion”, I couldn’t imagine children and adults having to leave their lives behind to travel such a distance through no fault of their own and I decided I have to help. So me and my friend Lucy are going to walk 43 miles from the 13th - 15th April to raise money and help these refugees with a target goal of £430.
