Hi all 

With the entire world having been in crazy times throughout 2020 it has been incredibly difficult on local charities that have not been able to raise funds in their usual ways in order to continue to operate and provide such valuable services, like Mind Jersey. 

On 22nd November it will be 12 months since we lost a dear friend and true legend, Steve Jeanne, who was loved and adored by so many!! 

Now, I am not much of a runner at all, and those of you who know me even slightly will know that i am much better placed with an engine underneath me. 

However, in Steve's memory and to try and raise funds for Mind Jersey during these difficult times, i am going to attempt to run a half marathon on Saturday 21st November 2020, finishing the run at one of Steves favourite places to be - Sorel point. 

Given that i only had this idea on Sunday the 8th November, i have given myself a grand total of two weeks of training to prepare for it.

I have set a personal goal of completing it in 1 hour 50 minutes. I am fully aware that this is pretty ambitious, however i love a good challenge!
