We support autistic & neurodivergent people to live a meaningful, empowered life

Story

Hi Everyone!

This will be my 16th Great North Run and for the first time I will be running it with a charity place! I am proudly supporting Daisy Chain! Daisy chain are based in Stockton and support people with Autism of all ages providing a range of support services to children and adults affected by autism, either with a diagnosis or who are undergoing the diagnostic process, their parents/carers and their siblings!

It’s great too that as those people get older, the support from Daisy Chain continues by their providing supported work placements and work experience! I have seen their excellent work in my local community and am really please to run in support of a local charity. There are so many great causes that people fundraise for through participating in the GNR. This one is close to home and I can’t wait to hit the streets in their shirt in September. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
