We are Mira and Stefan from Cargill Ocean Transportation. We decided to take up the Loch Ness Challenge and support Sailor's society's mission as we are both personally and professionally engaged with shipping. We communicate with hundreds of people around the world on daily basis as part of our aim to do business in the best possible way, what may stay hidden though is how those people feel being away from their families and loved ones, but still keep their spirits high. Stefan and myself both come from the Naval academy and most of our friends are seafarers - we don't get the chance to meet them very often and (selfish or not) that is why we are more than happy to support Sailor's Society in satisfying seamen's needs to stay connected with their families wherever they are.

Our mission in this event will be to complete 100km paddling in less than 4 days through the great Scottish lakes. We know we'll push ourselves both physically and mentally, but in the end of the day, the best recognition will be that someone somewhere will get the chance to hear the voice of "their person" :) Lastly, we'll make sure to take a selfie with Nessie in case we meet and you'll be the first ones to see it.
