Set in the wilds of the Highlands, Sailors’ Society’s Loch Ness Challenge will test endurance and team working skills to their limit. Taking in some of the most breath taking and iconic sights that Scotland has to offer paddling from Fort William to Inverness, including the length of the infamous Loch Ness!
This back to nature expedition is both physically and mentally demanding. Each day will bring a new set of challenges but the rewards will be well worth the effort. Reconnecting with nature, camping each night, with some sites so remote they cannot be reached by car.
The Sailors’ Society’s Loch Ness Challenge aims to continue helping seafarers and seafaring communities face the challenges that being away at sea presents. From loneliness, and risk of mental illness to negotiating release and counselling to those exposed and affected by piracy and other sea related risks.
This event promises to be an incredible experience that will stay in your memory for the rest of your life!
