Ashgate Hospice is almost on the doorstep of our Head Office in Matlock.  Every year Ashgate runs the Sparkle Walk fund raising event, which MVIS Ltd donate portable VMS to for event management. This year due to Covid-19 the event has been cancelled. 

The Sparkle Walk normally brings in over £180,00 of funds to the charity and is a big part of the yearly fundraising amount needed to run the hospice, this year their costs have increased with the extra PPE they have needed to buy to be able to continue to give care to the patients and also support families and friends of the patients at a very hard time in all their lives.

Ashgate are this year holding a Virtual Sparkle Night instead, with a target of £200,000 to raise very much needed funds. 

We decided as a company we needed to get involved and asked our staff to help raise money for Ashgate who provide end of life car to terminally ill cancer patients. 

Several MVIS and Bartco staff have lost family and close friends to cancer, so quickly volunteered to help raise funds as they understand the importance of this facility.

We are holding a 'Sports Day', 'over 200 miles walked' and 'Danceathon' between now and the 19th September, the date of the Virtual Sparkle Night.

We thank you for any donations given, our aim is to raise £1,200 to buy a pain relief syringe driver to help this hospice that provides compassionate end of life care to patients with life-limiting illness and their families when it most matters.
