Vodafone employees are raising £1 million for Vodafone Foundation's Girl Fund, which is supporting charitable programmes that use technology to address some of the biggest issues affecting girls today.

Story

As a woman find myself in the privileged situation of being able to live my life on equal footing, self-determined.

Over the last year,  I started to use my passion for hiking for charity. Even in 2019, equal access to education and technology still is not a reality for many girls and women. As "WanderWoman",  I have been able to give children the opportunity to learn to read and visit a library and a book store for the first time in their lives.

This year, I will dedicate my hiking session to #ShineAlight Form Girls. Donations will be channelled into Vodafone Foundation's Girl Fund, a restricted fund dedicated to improve girls' access to education in countries where Vodafone operates.

Every penny counts :-) Thank you!
