There are three motives that underpin the activities of Make a Medic: 1. Improve access to medical education through widening participation initiatives 2. Support the education of medical students in LMICs by providing educational resources and creating training opportunities. 3. Identify public health issues in LMICs and implement changes that can benefit the local communities with the overall aim of improving health outcomes and alleviating poverty. The money raised from this event will go towards supporting these activities to help take Make a Medic to the next level!
