Albie Robberts Runs a Marathon · 8 March 2021

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

My name is Albie and I am 7 years old. When I am older I want to run a charity and I want to help homeless people by raising money. My mum told me I could started now so I will run a few miles each time to add up to a whole marathon before the schools go back. I want to sponsor a room at Centrepoint for a year which will cost £12 per month so £144 a year.

My little sister will also be running but not the whole way and I have asked my buddies to join in so we are going to all do our own marathons and see how much we can raise.

I have invited my friends to get involved and together we have an army all taking on their own challenges!
