Albies' Army

Raising money for Centrepoint

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

Inspired by a little idea from 7 year old Albie, to raise money for homeless young people, a little Army of primary school students are each taking on a personal challenge to clock up the miles before the schools go back. They will be running a marathon or cycling a 100 miles (in parts) to raise money for Centre Point. The original plan was to raise £144 to sponsor a room for a year but now the sky's the limit. Get involved by sponsoring the Army, or taking on your own challenge or just by simply giving them a cheer when you see them pass by!
