I have decided to set out on an adventure this summer to climb the second tallest mountain in Africa to raise money for Team Kenya! Mount Kenya is one of the toughest treks in the world. At more than 17,000ft, the ascent over tough terrain is not going to be easy! However, this is a challenge I'm ready to take. Team Kenya involve entire communities in gender equality, so that girls in rural Kenya can create their own bright futures. By investing in girls education, preventing early marriage and teen pregnancy, issues such as HIV and AIDS can be resolved and the cycle of poverty can be broken.
