Bad Hair Day · 10 February 2017 ·

We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Molly, I am 10 years old.

I am taking part in Silly hair day on 10th Feb to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

I suffer with EDS,  There is no cure and this causes me pain everyday and night, I am soon to be treated at Great Ormond street hospital to help manage my pain, I would like to raise £308 which is the cost for a weeks stay in accommodation for parents to be close to there children.

Because of My EDS i cannot do to much physical activity, Yesterday my consultant told me to not to do any exercises for 6 weeks, because of this I wouldn't be able to do a sponsored walk etc.... But I love to cook so I have decided in order to raise money I will have a cooking day, I will make batches of lovely hot meals using the skills I have learnt at schools cookery club & home, My sausage rolls are yummy, Mummy says my leek and potato soup is too, with the help of Mummy I will make several meals to feed many then with Daddy's help I will deliver them to a charity in Lincolnshire who help and feed the homeless.

The reason I have decided to help the homeless is because a few weeks ago I was in Cleethorpes with Mummy and Daddy, we saw a homeless man, It was very cold, Daddy bought him some hot food and a cup of tea, It really upset me seeing someone sat on the floor not knowing if/when they will next eat something hot, Mummy told me about a charity that provides hot meals for the homeless which is were my meals will go.

Thank you for reading my story
