My dad died suddenly in February this year and I miss him terribly.   He was always interested in what I was running next and I like to think he was proud of my running so I am running Cheltenham Half Marathon in his memory.  I have also been running a 10K every month this year so I hope to complete the rest of the year with that too.

Action Heart is a small charity in the Midlands where my father spent some time getting fitter.  After being diagnosed with diabetes he took on the challenge to lose weight and get fitter which he did with the help of Action Heart.  I am not sure how much time spent at Action Heart was exercising and how much was having a chat with others but he enjoyed his time there.
