Story
I use to assist in running The Rye and District Show, which was a huge fund raiser for the St Michael's Hospice. It was cancelled in 2020 and now will not take place in 2021.....we are un-certain when the next will be.
The money raised from the show was one of the biggest one day fund raising events for The Hospice. As you can imagine the hospice is in much need of donations to be able to continue to help many of us.
For Izzy & Rosanna the show was a highlight of their holidays They could compete on their ponies in the show jumping, showing and fancy dress, with the knowledge it raised money for The Hospice who helped their Grandfather in his time of need as well as other friends and family.
So Izzy & Rosanna have joined up with their friends and decided to take on the fund raising themselves. The group of young children came up with the idea themselves to climb over Mount Everest on their ponies!
They will start trekking from 13th February to 08 March when they hope to go back to school. The distance is 11 miles in total up and down Mount Everest but they do hope to go up and down a few times!!
They ask you to please give as generously as you can and thank you for all your support.
