Story
I had this big plan last year to run 4 marathons in April in 2017, and when I received my 8th rejection magazine from VMLM in October, I decided that would be it, no more.
However, It would appear that the 'lure' of running the London Marathon once again is too strong!
This year in a break from the norm instead of running for ABF The Soldiers Charity I will be running to support the MS Society.
However, this isn't just about being offered a place and taking it, because I want to run London. I accepted the place because a very special lady in my life suffers with this disease and although there is nothing I can do directly, one thing I can do is run!
Around 100,000 people in the UK have MS, this is for the one member of my family I know that has and I guess in some way the other 99,999 affected!
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is different for everyone and you can get symptoms in many parts of your body.
MS is a neurological condition. That means it affects your nerves. It's caused when your immune system isn’t working properly.
