To raise funds for the Samaritans by taking part in the Talisker whiskey challenge 2022 rowing 3000 miles from La Gomera Spain to Antigua in a 24ft ocean rowing boat.As a husband and wife crew we will be in a confined space for approx 2 months whilst we complete this crossing.Rowing 2 hours on and 2 hours off, on the oars in 30ft waves,30 degrees heat,winds ,blisters and having encounters with the wildlife including sharks. Along with dealing with isolation and loneliness this is a major part of mind over matter in this epic trip . Being married for over 25 years and having 10 years rowing experience along with new skills learnt in the run up to this event this is truly a trip to embrace and wow what a story to tell.
