Story

Many thanks for visiting our Just Giving page.

Wetherby Kensington are raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital For Children (GOSH) in aid of Eduardo. Eduardo is a bright and bubbly boy currently studying in Year 2 at Wetherby Kensington. In May this year, his family received the devastating news that Eduardo had been diagnosed with Acute T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-ALL), a form of leukaemia. Eduardo is currently having treatment at the wonderful GOSH and we are pleased to say is responding really well to his treatment.

Mr Owen, Eduardo's Teaching Assistant and fellow Star Wars fan, currently supports a strong head of hair that has been grown over lockdown. In support of Eduardo and the amazing team at GOSH, he shall be having his head shaved in front of the Year 2 boys and staff. Sadly, due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to invite anyone else to attend this event, however we hope that this does not deter you from dipping as generously as you can into your pockets for such a fantastic cause. Although the staff at Wetherby Kensington have had plenty of practise over lockdown with DIY haircuts, we are leaving the job to Lily, a stylist from the Daniel Galvin Hair Team, who will be visiting Wetherby Kensington on Monday 5th July at 2pm. Huge thanks to the wonderful Wetherby mum who kindly orchestrated this for us!

We thank you so much in advance for your generosity. With everyone's support we are able to fully get behind Eduardo, his family, as well as the incredible doctors and nurses at GOSH.
