We care for sick and premature babies to give every baby the best chance of life

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in The 30th Great North Run on Sunday 19th September, to raise money for The Tiny Lives Fund. This is the charity which supports The Special Care Baby Unit, at The Royal Victoria Infirmary, in Newcastle Upon Tyne, where on Friday 2nd March 2007 Matthew John Wilson was born. He weighed just three pounds and was 10 weeks premature. Chris and I owe so much to the unit, that it has been my wish for some time to undertake a personal challenge which will raise funds to help other families like ours bring our gourgeous little ones home safely.

I feel excited to be taking part in such an Internationally renouned race in the city where both Matthew and I had our lives saved by the work of a superb team of Doctors and Nurses.
