Story

The Wilson/Thornton/Gillanders/Forgie Clan are taking family bonding to its extreme and are participating in a Tough Mudder Obstacle Course in memory of Andy Wilson.

Andy took part in the Tough Mudder Race only 3 months before his diagnosis of Bowel Cancer, and we can't think of a better way to honour his memory, whilst in the process we hope to fundraise for St Christopher's Hospice, who took such good care of him at the last.

St Christopher's relies hugely on donations, whether it is through fundraising or its charity shops, and we would love to help contribute to the great work it continues to do.

Andy ran the course with his mates under the team name 'Beer, Guts and Glory'. A fitting team name for a man who always wanted to win but have a joke or two whilst competing.

Therefore please donate in memory of a great man and for a great charity, as Team 'Mudding for Andy' looks set to take on one of the toughest obstacle courses in the world.

Please be generous xx

About the charity

Every year we provide care and support to over 6,500 people across South East London, both at home and in the hospice. We passionately believe that everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. We need to fundraise £16 million each year to continue our services
