Music 4 Masses is made up of a small group of highly motivated individuals, aiming to raise as much money as we can for the Myton Hospice. We all have our own individual reasons for wanting to muster up donations for the Myton Hospice, some out of loss, others out of the desire to simply do some good. We hope to have created a fun & exciting event, based around the local metal/alternative music scene, whilst helping to promote some local businesses who will be sponsoring the events; all with aim of raising much needed money and awareness for an amazing charity in the Myton Hospice - specifically its "Nurses Appeal".

 

We have arranged a battle of the bands competition to showcase some of Coventry's local musical talent within the heavy metal/alternative scene. The first two gigs (the "heats") will be taking place on the 7th and 14th of April at The Phoenix (previously The Campbell) 122  Gosford Street, Town Centre, Coventry, CV1 5DL.

Each band will be given a 20 minute set to play their best tracks and try to earn enough votes to make it through to the "Winners Gig", for the top three voted bands. While this is happening our website will go live where you can cast your votes as to who your favourite band are. (Website  address  will  be  added  here  once  the  site  is  complete). A track will be available on here from each band to listen to, along with a section to vote - all votes are to be cast online - and finally, a link to this page to make any further donations.

The "Winners Gig" is set to take place on Saturday 5th  of  May which will involve the top three voted bands, with the highest voted band to headline.
