Eddie's is an operating division of The Edmund Trust. We run several services that support people with a learning disability, and their families and carers. We want everyone to have the opportunity to achieve the things they want out of life.

Story

JUST TO CLARIFY THE EVENT DATE ON THIS PAGE IS WRONG, I HAVE UPDATED THE PAGE FROM A PREVIOUS FUNDRAISING EFFORT SO EVERYTHING RAISED ON HERE WILL BE GOING STRAIGHT TO THE EDMUND TRUST I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE DATE!? I HAVE EMAILED JUST GIVING TO ASK THEM.

We are a small group of staff from Melbourn Village College and Cambridge County Council who have challenged ourselves to run a total of 500 miles between us this month and in doing so complete the Cambridge Virtual Half Marathon. We are raising money for this local charity below:

The Edmund Trust

Our vision is a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to and included. We want everyone to have the opportunity to achieve the things they want out of life. In 2018 we supported 670 children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and their families and carers across Cambridgeshire. 113 of our regular volunteers helped us to deliver these services. We couldn't do what we do without them.
