On the 9th June 2018, my colleague, Ian Sanders, and I have booked a tandem parachute jump to raise funds for Arthur Rank Hospice in memory of a cherished colleague, Peter Howard, who lost his fight to cancer in August 2017.

We will be jumping out of an aircraft at 13,000 feet, plunging down to earth at speeds of over 120 mph while wearing an Equivital LifeMonitor Sensor Belt.

Peter was our Systems Design Consultant, a poet and critic. He was a key member of Hidalgo Ltd, designing, developing and implementing algorithms for Equivital’s flagship LifeMonitor.

The Equivital Life Monitor is a body worn sensor that measures ECG, heart rate, breathing rate, skin temperature, activity and body position.
