My best friend Annie Bishop has persuaded me to run the Marathon in April. It has been a life-long ambition of ours and we're going to do it! It has the added benefit of raising money for our selected charities. Annie's being Tommy's and mine Leukaemia CARE, supporting people affected by blood cancer. My mother was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia and sadly died in September 2009. There is not a day that goes by without me thinking of her - I miss her terribly but know she would be delighted with Annie and me suffering in her honour! Wish us luck and please donate.
