Great North Run 2022
Campaign by National Trust (RCN 205846)
The world's biggest half marathon returns to its iconic city to sea course, starting in Newcastle and finishing next to the National Trust's own Souter Lighthouse. Run for nature, run for history, run for the places you love with the National Trust.

Story

I am running 6 half marathons in 6 days, each of which will finish at a different National Trust property around the country, and finishing at Souter Lighthouse at the end of the Great North Run. This just happens to be 127km, to represent the 127 years the National Trust has been caring for our nature, history and culture.

The National Trust is Europe's largest conservation charity protecting nature, beauty and history for everyone, for ever. I am running to ensure that the natural and historic places we all love are kept safe for future generations to enjoy.
