We're a charity that looks after special places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland for ever, for everyone. This includes 780 miles of coastline, over 248,000 hectares of land and over 500 historic houses, castles, ancient monuments gardens and parks and nature reserves.

Story

As Europe's largest conservation charity, with the help of our supporters, we look after nature, beauty and history for everyone, for ever.

Without your help, we wouldn't be able to care for the miles of coastline, woodlands, countryside and the hundreds of historic buildings, gardens and precious collections that we protect. Our shared places stretch across the nation, from Lizard Point in Cornwall, to Lindisfarne in Northumberland and Florence Court in Northern Ireland.

When you run for the National Trust, not only will you be achieving your own fitness goals, you are helping vital conservation work go the extra mile so that the places you love are kept safe for future generations to enjoy.
