I have chosen to run the London landmark Half Marathon on April 3rd 2022 for Thames Valley Air Ambulance charity. 
This charity holds a special place in mine and my family’s heart.

On the 6th of November 2014 I was involved in an unfortunate car crash which left me with 12 major broken bones and unable to walk for 5/6 months.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance arrived at the scene first and kept me alive until the Firemen, Police and Ground Ambulance came to support me further.
After 4 hours trying to release me from the car and giving me blood they managed to get me out, however I was still in urgent need for further medical help to keep me alive. The quickest option would’ve been to fly me to John Radcliffe hospital via helicopter but unfortunately the Air ambulance were unable to as they had a lack of lights to fly at night due to funding.

I was lucky enough to get escorted by the police however other people might not be so lucky.

I am truly grateful for their support and assistance back in 2014 so I thought that even though there are so many ways to repay them this would be a good start!
