Walk for Wards is a sponsored walk to raise vital funds to support the amazing doctors and nurses providing excellent care and treatment to patients in Sheffield.

For those of you that know me know the battle I have faced for the past year fighting aggressive breast cancer aged 30. It was a complete shock to me. How could I have breast cancer? It took me a long time to accept this and to raise awareness that this can happen to anybody at any age.

This has been an incredibly hard time for me and i want to take this opportunity to repay the kind and wonderful hospital staff at Weston Park Cancer Hospital for all they have done for me. I  especially want to support the chemotherapy and radiotheraphy wards whom without their continuous support I might not have had the strength to continue.

With the help of my sister, neice, nephew, husband and best friend they will be attempting the 5km around the Longhsaw Estate, Peak District National Park on Sunday 10th Spetember 2017.

Our initial target is to raise £500 but it would be amazing if we could raise a lot more 😀
