Walk for Wards 2017

5km or 10km walk  

Walk for Wards is a sponsored walk taking place across the UK to raise vital funds to support the amazing doctors and nurses providing excellent care and treatment for patients in Sheffield. By joining Walk for Wards you can raise funds for any hospital, ward or department that means something to you or someone you love. 

Your local Walk for Wards is either a short walk (around 5k) or a more challenging route (around 10k), taking in the beautiful countryside of the Longshaw Estate in the Peak District National Park, sampling the picturesque surroundings we are so lucky to have right on our doorsteps. 

It takes place on Sunday 10th September 2017 and you can sign in and start walking any time between 9.30am and 10am. In order to take part, all we ask is that you raise a minimum of £15 per person, but we are encouraging our walkers to raise as much sponsorship as possible, so please ask your friends and family to dig deep for a great local cause! The more money you raise, the more we can do together to make our local hospitals even better.
