Dad recently passed away after suffering from dementia for last few years, such a cruel disease. Dad was best Dad in world to me and my brother Kevin and my sister Julie. He was also hugely respected by such a wide diversity of people. Probably best known for his 30 years service in Staffs Police then West Midlands Police. He was hugely respected by both his former colleagues as well as by some of Walsall FCs more boisterous fans from back in the day. He also had a large number of friends from outside of his Police days.
Luckily he managed to enjoy a long retirement. His funeral is Tuesday 26th April 2022 at 3.30pm at St Georges in Pontesbury [SY5 0PP] , followed by Internment at Hope Cemetery, Bent Lawnt.
Everyone is welcome to join the Family afterwards at Hope Village Hall [SY5 0JB] for drinks and refreshments to celebrate Dad's life.
