Everest Marathon · 8 November 2017

Headway Worcestershire supports people who have suffered an acquired brain injury, their families and carers. With three day centres and a team of outreach workers we help clients across the whole of Worcestershire with daily living skills.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My daughter Tabitha acquired a brain injury in 2005 and now works for Headway Worcestershire. She helps others overcome their difficulties in living with a brain injury. At the day centre she runs support sessions in communication, sports, art, ceramics and photography. The money raised will help to buy materials for these sessions to continue.

This once in a lifetime trip firstly involves a 16 day trek to acclimatise to the altitude of over 5500m. When I reach Everest Base Camp on the 27th November, I will run 26.2 miles to the finish line at Nanche Bazar, before returning home on the 4th December.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could support this worthy charity.

Thanks, Neil.
