I'll keep it short and simple.  I MUST beat Angie. I MUST beat the fellow runners from Ealing Homes. I MUST get fit.

Running 10 miles is almost certainly one of the most ambitious things I've ever signed up for. I really don't fancy my chances. You may want to hedge your bets and match your donation at a popular first aid charity. You know, the one with the fake ambulances. The reality of this challenge is just starting to sink in.

Ok, I've hammed it enough. International Animal Rescue is an incredible charity. Their approach and commitment has made a measurable difference to the welfare of many animals. And that's just the beginning. Just check out their website, it speaks for itself. It really will be a privilage to raise funds and to know it will be spent well by a Charity that deploys such unique skills (Bear Dentists?!?) and creates such sustainable projects. All the beasties out there, large and small, need this charity.

Please make your gift a generous one. I will appreciate it, but International Animal Rescue will turn into something that really makes a difference (hey, they should stick this stuff on their website).
