Well here i am AGAIN.....i must be mad or stupid or just crazy.........but its worth it....yes its marathon time again hard intense training but all for a good cause...i have been very lucky to be able to run again this time for a charity close to home AMBITIOUS ABOUT AUTISM...I never really understood much about autism....but wow how the past two years have opened my eyes. You are probably reading this and thinking why has the past two years opened my eyes well it is like this you see.....i never really understood much about autism what it is how it can affect people family friends etc..thats when just over two years ago i started a new realationship with my partner whos son was going through a really bad time, now my stepson. The aggrestion, the hitting, trashing the house, slashing funiture, throwing things even to the point of holding a knife to my partners back ( his mum ). Then there is all the confontations he had with me. So did it open my eyes....christ yes it did.....but did i once think to myself im not getting involved in this did i think i dont need this did i think im walking away...no no no i didnt i wasnt going anywhere as i was here to stay, and i have and i always will be. Ive, we've learnt so much especially me over these past two years. Yes some days are better than others...we take the good with the bad...but we still get up the next and we go again simple....

Most people probably dont understand it and probably never will unless you live or know someone who has this condition, a life time condition. This is a disability so there is meltdowns, tempers, anger, aggression, swearing etc....so next time you see a child, teenager, young adult acting this way...STOP and think for a minute this could be an autistic person its not there fault its a disability. AUTISM and ASD comes in all shapes and sizes both VERBAL and NONE VERBAL " life long developmental disability that effects how people perceive the world and interact with others " the charity i am running for supports these people and there families giving the best opportunities to lead a more full filling life
