Hi Fellow Netballers,

It is great having this opportunity to write to you all. It has been such a long time since I've been in touch with the netball community. So greeting to one and all!

Life has had its fair share of challenges for me this past year; however despite this nothing compares to the news I received on the 25th October 2011 when I suddenly become ill with stomach cramps. This was the day that changed my life forever! It was the day I was diagnosed with bowel cancer.  Shocked?  However, from that day onwards I have overcome huge obstacles,  met and befriended some amazing fellow cancer patients who choose to do all they can to ensure they live a long and healthy life in the future.
