Etape du Tour 2007 · 16 July 2007 ·

SportsAid is the only national charity of its kind, proudly supporting young British sportsmen and women who aspire to be our next Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth and world champions.

Story

The Etape du Tour is the most desirable, daunting and demanding ride for the amateur cyclist (or muppets as they are known). This year is over reputedly the hardest course ever! 196 kms from Foix to Loudenvielle in the Pyrenees there are 5 climbs of varying difficulty - anything from brutal to impossible according the the Rapha website. Our team of optimists has been training for months to try to ease the pain, but I assure you, it's never enough! So please make our suffering worthwhile and help us raise a huge amount for Sports Aid. To see just what we're insane enough to attempt, go to http://www.rapha.cc/index.php?page=300, and http://www.letapedutour.com/2007/ETDT/presentation/fr/parcours.htm
