Dear friends as you may well know my Dear mother died last year of liver and bowel cancer, before she passed away I said I would like to do a charity event in memory of her. My mum chose Marie currie as she used to volunteer for them herself .When I told her that I would attempt to run the London marathon for her with my older brother she thought we were both mad .No change there then ! Mum was born in a bygone era, Even though she used to dodge bombs dropped on London during the second world war, she still used to think running was to dangerous to do just for exercise. At the very least you should have a glass of pimms in one hand and maybe a tennis racket in the other that was mums idea of sport bless her. My mother is very sadly missed and was quite a character so to run for her charity choice is a privilege. Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and totally secure.
