Walking for the RSPCA in memory of our dear, dear Disney who we had to say goodbye to just 2 days before Christmas at age 15½. Disney was the best dog a family could ever have and was with us as both our boys grew up. She is missed every single day 💔

Losing a pet can feel like losing a member of the family. Yet pet grief is often misunderstood, leaving many feeling they have to carry their loss quietly or alone.

The RSPCA’s Not Just A Pet campaign helps more people recognise that pet grief is real and deserves to be seen and supported. A big part of this is Walk To Remember – a community event offering a moment to celebrate the pets who mean so much to us.

Taking place on National Pet Memorial Day (13 September), I'll be walking to celebrate the bond I shared with my pet, while fundraising to help other animals in need.
