Story

What will I do?

I'm no mountain runner, that's for sure.  Instead I aim to move every day in March. By my calcs that should have me covering the equivalent of 4.2 Mt Fujis over this month  šŸƒšŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜Š

(why Mt Fuji?  read on below...)

Why am I doing it?

Our buddy and colleague Nick White is facing another battle with head and neck cancer.  Inspired by his bravery we've dreamt up this fundraiser. We hope that by raising money for his favourite cause we will motivate him in his treatment and recovery.

I've joined others from Xero to raise money for the Gilles McIndoe Research Institute. The GMRI is focused on making cancer treatment less intrusive, more accessible and more affordable.

Nick is a passionate advocate for GMRI after surviving cancer a decade ago.  Impressively - and before being fully recovered - he ran Mt Fuji completing the challenging 21km, 3,776m elevation climb.

Please join us by donating, sending shout outs, or watching our teammates complete their own fitness challenges. We've each set our own goals so check out the other pages to see how we are doing.

We are so grateful for your support, thank you!

And Nick, kia kaha - we're thinking of you.
