Molly's Fund
Campaign by The National Brain Appeal (RCN 290173)
Molly’s Fund raised £1m to create the UK’s first dedicated brain tumour ward which opened at The National Hospital in 2011. Now we want to help double the size of the ward to treat more patients.

Story

I am arranging a bike ride with some friends from work to raise money for a charity called Molly's Fund. The charity works with the The National Brain Appeal. This is in memory of my friends mother who recently passed away following a very quick but brave fight with a brain tumor. There are about 15 of us taking part and range from relatively experienced cyclists to 'I haven't been on a bike for 40 years but will give it a go' and 'Does anyone have a bike I can borrow?'. We are hoping to cover 150 miles as a group and the event is taking place on the 18th September. I have attached the link below and we would all appreciate any donations from anyone able to help.

Thank you :)

About the charity

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.
