Although this 10km is going to feel like hard work (for me anyway!), it's nothing compared to the challenges that some families with young children face.

As well as the wonderful moments & rewards, being a parent can also be exhausting & challenging; even more so if you are trying to cope with extra issues or pressures in your life such as domestic abuse, debt, divorce/separation, bereavement or health issues. 

Home-Start Manchester offer weekly emotional & practical support  to  families in Manchester who have  children under the age of 5 years old.  

We're hoping to raise as much as we can so that staff and volunteers can continue to do the great work they do!
