Story

As many of you know my beautiful nanna gained her wings on 21st June 2019. She had fought terminal lung cancer since November 2018 and she did it so bravely and so strongly. This was helped by the fantastic staff at John Taylor hospice, they were there for Nan and the family 24/7 from the day Nan was diagnosed and they are still helping the family now with emotional care and support. The care the hospice at home team provided to Nan meant that we could carry out her wishes and she passed away peacefully in her own home with dignity and surrounded by her loved ones. The team knew Nan personally and ensured that she was cared for on a personal level and everything was done with nans wishes in mind. We could not have done it without their physical and emotional support and to me they are all truly angels and I can never repay them. However, we are completing this 10k walk in memory of our amazing Nan and to try and give something back to this amazing charity al please dig deep as every penny really does make a difference. Thank you xx
