As everyone knows, I lost the best wee pony last month. I wanted something positive to come out of all the heartbreak so I decided to donate the money raised from selling his saddle and rugs. I then created this page so others could easily contribute if they wished. 

I was shocked and saddened when I recently visited Gambia at the condition of some of the horses and donkeys. They all work so hard in difficult conditions, with ill fitting harnesses, saddles and often wire for bits. The Gambia horse and donkey trust do a great job treating some of these poor animals but they also provide invaluable education to the locals which makes their work much more sustainable. It really is a worthwhile charity and it would be much appreciated if you could spare a few pounds to help their cause.
