The day before our little Sebbie's 1st birthday we received the devastating, lifechanging and overwhelming news that he had a rare form of childhood cancer called Retinoblastoma.

Since November 2019, we have received, and continue to do so, much needed support and assistance from a number of hospitals (Birmingham Children's Hospital, Gloucester Royal and Bristol Children's Hospital) and charities, including CHECT (Childhood Eye Cancer Trust) and CLIC Sargarent.

Sebbie's journey will be a long one, with his treatment continuing for the next few years.  However, with his final round of chemotherapy due in March 2020, I am now at a point where I would love to start raising money to give something back to the amazing charities who have been there for him and us, and continue to do so, during the worse days of our lives.  

For my first fundraising event I will be running 10k as part of  the RunThrough Regent's Park event in July 2020 for CHECT.  James and Oscar are also planning on raising money through other events this year.

We never dreamt we would be in the situation where our darling baby boy has cancer, however we are, so now want to give back to charities that have supported Sebbie, us and other families who have been affected by this rare form of cancer.
