Back at the start of March I had a heart attack, although I did not relise it at the time. I am well on the mend now and getting back out on my bike again. I am going to ride for the British Heart Foundation as along with the staff at QA hospital they have been a great help and support during my recovery.

The first ride I am doing is on 10th June, the 'Round the Harbours' BHF ride. That is 33 miles and fairly flat, so to make the challenge worthwhile I am going to take part in the Dorset BHF ride the following week on 17th June, that will be a bit more challenging at 66 miles but, there are 'escape' routes to make the ride slightly shorter if I am really not up to it!
