The coronavirus outbreak is the greatest global health emergency of our time. It is affecting the way we all go about our daily lives. The Pandemic is impacting communities everywhere and our small home town Batticaloa is not an exception. It's never been more urgent to support our community in this unprecedented times. where cases have risen dramatically, hospitals are overwhelmed, and oxygen supplies are running out. Since the start of Covid Outbreak we have spent 50,079,00.00 Sri Lankan rupees in Covid related expenses such as dry food, medical equipment, donation to Home for Elders and personal protection equipment. These unexpected expenses along with not being able to have fund raising events have affected our current available fund to support our ongoing projects. We have to dig deep into our reserves to fund these projects. We are receiving so many requests for help but we do not have enough funds to fulfil all the requests.
