Story

Nikki got a ballot place in the London Landmarks Half Marathon last year and I didn't. So I could run it as well I had to apply to a charity to get a place. We have always been dog lovers and have seen the difference a guide dog makes to it's owner's life. I applied to Guide Dogs and was successful. We ended up raising the best part of £1500 pounds, which was was way above what we expected and showed that our families, friends and colleagues also shared our thoughts. After the LLHM we said (well I did) we would never do a marathon (that's two halves one after the other!!). Well about two months later we were signed up for the Brighton Marathon taking place on 19th April this year and we thought what better charity to raise money for again than Guide Dogs. Please feel free to give as little or as much as you can. If you can't give money, please send us your best wishes as I, for one, will need them given I'll be 50 two weeks later!!. We are also doing the Vitality Big Half in London on 1st March as a bit of a training exercise.
