I will be taking on the challenge of running my first Half Marathon. 

I am raising money for Children on the Edge because of the great work they have been doing helping children in Ukraine. 

Children on the Edge are child rights agency based in Chichester working alongside some of the most marginalised communities in the world. Most recently Romania and Moldova for Ukrainian refugee children and families who were forced to flee Russian invasion. 

Working in collaboration with partners on the ground, Children on the Edge are providing accommodation, access to essentials such as a food, hygiene products and clothing, and psychosocial support to help children process some of the trauma they've faced in their young lives. 

They envision a world in which every child thrives, regardless of their geography, ethnicity, gender or caste, and currently work with more than 20,000 children in Bangladesh, India, Uganda, Myanmar and Lebanon.
