We finished trekking 15 Km in the Brecon Beacons National Park to the summit of Fan Frynych in Wales on Sunday 28th May 2023 for childrescue.net (El Shaddai Charitable Trust Ltd) a UK and India registered Charity. It has been doing amazing work helping raise and feed street, neglected and abused children in Goa for over 26 years. Nitin and Mina Changela, the organisers visit El Shaddai annually and have seen valuable contribution made with their shelters, schools and outreach programmes operated from their base in Assagao, Goa. 

Currently, there are 8 residential homes for 300+ destitute, orphaned or abused children (under 16).           They also run 8 Community shelters, 6 Schools and 20 Slum schools for 600 marginalised children.

The founders, Anita Edgar in the UK and Pastor Matthew Kurian in India are still very actively involved in furthering the children's causes and rights. For further information, please visit childrescue.net and for checking their current programmes.
